Community Connections
The Labour Day Oakville Half Marathon recognizes the Oakville community for the outpouring of support we receive each year by featuring local charities and encouraging participants to raise funds for and/or donate to these organizations.

This year help us give back to the community that gives so generously to us.  Take the time to use your efforts in training to raise funds and awareness for our feature charities: the Oakville Hospital Foundation, YMCA of Oakville, Kerr Street Ministries and the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada.

Volunteers
Each year the Labour Day Oakville Half Marathon relies on over 200 volunteers to lend a helping hand during race weekend.  This year is no exception!  We are currently looking for volunteers for our finish line, baggage check, aid stations and course marshals.
This is a great way for those who would prefer not to run to become involved in the half marathon and experience all the fun, spirit, and excitement this event brings to the Town of Oakville.  Students, this also serves as a great way to complete those 40 hours of community service.
All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt!
To register as a volunteer please visit www.oakvillehalfmarathon.com and click on the volunteers tab for further information or call us at 905.949.1910 x228.
